The only drawback in this game is a slight glitch where completing the word right as the timer ends usually doesn’t count. There are also small details that make the game more enjoyable, such as the empty glasses stacking as you progress more and the audience behind you (more cats, too) getting excited as you complete chains of correct words. That alone is enough reason to grind this game. Lastly, there are more cats aside from Batou. Additionally, stats are recorded for each difficulty level plus a set of achievements to unlock. To start, there are three difficulty levels plus a mirrored mode where all words are mirrored yet you have to type them in the right order. This game actually has a lot of features despite its simple premise. It’s bright, colorful, and just cozy overall. It’s a typing test masked with cute cats, which will definitely appeal to cat lovers everywhere. For every word you type, your cat gets to drink another glass full of milkshakes. Right from the start, Happy Cat Tavern looks like a flash game with its 2D graphics, a singular setting, and a simple game premise.
